The Brief
Incito were asked to complete a functional assessment across a clients technology, data and change capability which included processes, performance and operating models. The aim was to identify and understand the areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
Our Approach
- Stakeholder engagement and validation: Met with 40+ stakeholders across all functions and levels to understand current state and validate early observations.
- Executive and Board requirements: Understood senior stakeholder requirements and wider organisational risks to enable prioritisation. Supported creation of a digital and data champion at Board level to ensure sufficient communication and ongoing monitoring.
- Trend analysis and detailed assessment: Utilised various techniques including SWOT to enable us to effectively identify the various issues and categorise into work packages that the client would be able to progress.
- Identify improvements and recommendations: Provided action plan encompassing people, process and technology with associated resource and budgets requirements.
- Coaching, mentoring and leadership: Assumed leadership in key areas including the legal implications of the restructure and recruitment to the new roles.

- Enhanced operating model: including a redesign, creation and recruitment of new roles including senior leadership and data expertise.
- Enhanced transformation framework: providing a robust process to initiate, assess, deliver and evaluate change and transformation.
- Improved data management capability: through a new data strategy, suite of policies and data structure encompassing business intelligence, data quality and data governance.
- External assurance: completed data quality audit including specific focus areas of regulatory compliance.
- Embedded continuous improvement culture: implemented new ways of working into senior leadership team, broader roles and annual investment planning process.
